Authenticity is Your Superpower!

Discover how to stand out, thrive, and achieve your dreams by embracing your unique self!

Hey Beautiful Mama,

It’s Chelsey here! 👋

I hope today finds you soaking in the little moments, even in the middle of all the beautiful chaos that makes up your world.

Today, I’m so excited to talk about something that’s been on my heart lately…

The power of embracing your unique self to thrive in both life and business.

We’ve all heard the advice: "Follow the formula, fit in, do what works for others."

But what if I told you that the real magic lies in embracing what makes you different?

Your quirks, your story, your journey—that’s where your true power is.

Stephen and I learned this firsthand.

We never quite fit the typical mold of entrepreneurs, juggling babies and businesses, figuring it all out on the fly.

And honestly?

That difference became our strength.

Here’s what I want you to do this week…

Take some time to reflect on your journey and lean into your uniqueness. To help,

here are five key steps to start embracing what makes you, you.

Step 1: Recognize Your Difference

How many times have you felt like you didn’t fit in?

Maybe like the way you're doing things isn’t the “right” way.

I know that feeling all too well. When Stephen and I were building Rainmakers, it was easy to feel like we were doing things wrong.

But guess what?

Our path…

Our difference—is what set us apart. Instead of following someone else’s playbook, we leaned into our own story, and that’s when things really started to click.

The same goes for you, Mama.

Those things that make you feel out of place?

They’re your superpower.

Embrace them!

Step 2: Resolve to Dream Again

Once you start embracing what makes you different, it becomes easier to dream big again.

And I mean really dream. Sometimes, life’s setbacks can make us hesitant to reach for more.

But just because something didn’t work out in the past doesn’t mean you shouldn’t keep dreaming.

One exercise Stephen and I love is called “The Best Three Years.” Picture yourself three years from now.

What would you say made those the best three years of your life?

Get specific—what changed in your business, your family, your personal growth?

This exercise helped us reconnect with our bigger vision, especially during tough times.

Step 3: Break Free from Limiting Thoughts

Even when you’re dreaming big, those “I can’t” thoughts sneak in.

You know the ones: “I’m not ready,” or “I’m not good enough.” It’s time to break free from those limiting beliefs, Mama.

Try this…

Write down the stories you’ve been telling yourself—those little voices that hold you back.

Then, ask yourself: “Is this really true?” Most of the time, we’re just carrying old beliefs that no longer serve us.

When we let go of those, amazing things happen.

Step 4: Rebel Against Industry Norms

This is one of my favorites!

Don’t be afraid to do things differently, Mama.

Just because everyone else is following a certain path doesn’t mean you have to.

When we launched Rainmakers, there was this unwritten rule that you had to stick to one niche.

But we didn’t want to limit ourselves like that.

So we didn’t. And guess what? It worked!

Go ahead—rebel a little.

Do things in a way that feels right for you, not the way everyone else is doing it.

Step 5: Expand Your Vision

When you start embracing your differences and challenging the norms, you’ll open up new possibilities for yourself and your business.

Don’t be afraid to explore different areas of interest or passions you’ve been putting off.

When Stephen and I allowed ourselves to go beyond the “rules,” it unlocked a whole new level of creativity.

Expanding your vision not only helps you grow, but also allows you to serve more people in ways you never thought possible.

Your Action Step This Week

Now that you’ve got the steps, let’s put them into action! Here’s how you can start embracing your authenticity and unique power this week:

  1. Recognize your difference: Write down three unique traits that set you apart. Think about how you can lean into those traits in your business.

  2. Dream again: Journal about where you want to be in the next three years. What would your life and business look like if you could create anything you wanted?

  3. Break free from limiting thoughts: Identify one limiting belief you’ve been holding onto. Challenge it! Write down a new, positive belief to replace it and remind yourself of it daily.

  4. Rebel against norms: Choose one way you can do something your way this week. Maybe it’s creating content that feels more authentic to you or setting a boundary that protects your time.

  5. Expand your vision: Explore one area outside your current comfort zone. What’s something new you can try or a passion project you’ve been thinking about? Take one small step toward that this week.

Mama, this week is all about embracing who you are and making your business work for you. No one else has your story, your vision, or your unique gifts—and that’s your greatest strength.

With love and gratitude,
Chelsey Diaz
